September 26, 2010 - Heart of Africa slide shows

You will have opportunity to meet Heart of Africa within several slide shows. In advance, in October at Around the World (Kolem světa) travellers festival in Brno, December 2 in Heřmanův Městec, in March 2011 in Čáslav, eventually at other travellers festival in Prague. Other slide shows are being currently negotiated. There will be enough of them around the whole Czech Republic. More details in Slide Shows section.

May 22, 2010 - Heart of Africa in The National Museum

On Wednesday June 9 from 7:00pm there will be a presentation from the Heart of Africa expedition at The National Museum.

March 13, 2010 - Presentation of photos from the expedition

On Friday March 19 from 7:00pm there will be a presentation of photos from the expedition in Travelers Club at Masarykovo nábřeží 22, Prague 1.

Another presentation will be held on Wednesday June 9 from 7:00pm at the National Museum.

March 9, 2010 - Interview in rado Kiss 98

Tomáš Kubeš will be a guest of Evening visits programme of radio Kiss  98 channel on Wednesday March 10 from 7:00pm again.

Another interview within the same programme is being prepared for Wednesday April 14.

January 19, 2010 - Heart of Africa in media again

On Sunday January 24 from 11:00am in Casablanca programme of Radio Wave channel there will be chance to hear an interview about our successful expedition.

There will be another interview with Tomáš Kubeš in Monday on January 24 at 10:40am in news programme of ČT24 television channel or on Wednesday February 3 from 7:00pm in Evening visits programme of radio Kiss 98 channel.

Today the last participant Tomáš Kubeš expedition returned from the Central African Republic where he found and visited Ba'Aka Pygmy tribe. There will be some photos and videos from the trip on this site soon.

At the end of October during descending the Sangha River in the Central African Republic, we had been arrested for three days and accused of espionage. Finally everything fell out well and we were released on a next journey in unspoiled nature.

October 22, 2009 - Cameroon, Yaounde

We are in Yaounde and, after two days of official red tape and obstacles, we managed to get our boat from captivity of customs officers. BTW: our boat is a little mite that weighs (together with a special bag) 45 kilograms :-)

Tomorrow we are leaving for the east of the country to Bertoua city near the border with the Central African Republic.
